On Thursday, January 10th Falls toke on Sussex Hamilton. Heat was brewing between these two teams since Hamilton has beat the Falls for the past six years.

Although Falls was looking for a win to keep their undefeated conference record going into the dual meet. Thursday the Hamilton streak ended with Falls dominated and defeating Sussex with a final team score of 68-6.  The draw to start the meet was at 113.  Falls won every match up to the weight class 152.  The Falls wrestler put up a fight, which even included him taking down the 8th ranked kid in the state from Sussex once. Unfortunately though the Falls 152 was pinned.  But the lost did not slow down the moment from the rest of team.  All the rest of the matches that night consisted of wins for the Falls.  Falls has two more teams, Hale and WAC, to take on before receiving the title conference champs this year that they are working very hard for.  The wrestlers are hopeful since after the Sussex win the team is ranked 6th according to Journal Sentinel.  The team itself has three four ranked wrestlers, two in which are last year state qualifiers.  Those ranked included Aaron Daly at 106, Jerrort Holz at 113, Billy Holz at 120 and Ayoola Olapo at 182.  Falls has a very strong wrestling team this year and hopes to do well the rest of the season is is hopeful to send some kids to state this March.
