Although Ted was an excellent movie, I must say that I was a little disappointed. Call me a perv, but I was kind of hoping for more vulgarity than there was.
They did a good job of portraying relationships; such as the relationship between two best friends, and a boyfriend and girlfriend. The only thing that made this movie stand out from any other movie was that the main character's best friend was a stuffed teddy bear rather than a real man. The movie had everything, it had you laughing, crying, white knuckling the couch cushion from suspense, there was drinking, partying, naked woman, drugs, sex scenes, car chases, and even death. There was heartbreak and joy all in the same movie. It was just one big emotional rollercoaster. As the result of a childhood wish, John Bennett's teddy bear, Ted, came to life and has been by John's side ever since - a friendship that's tested when Lori, John's girlfriend of four years, wants more from their relationship.
