The hunger games series was a great read throughout every book. The first book in the series The Hunger Games. Was a fast paced read that kept you on the edge of your seat while reading. It was almost impossible for me to put down while I was reading.

There were so many different things that made The Hunger Games good, so when they made the movie, it did the book no justice. Catching Fire is the second book in the series and it was just as good as the first one. The love triangle between the characters kept you guessing. Katniss, who is the main character is trying to figure out who she’s in love with. She had to compete in the games a second time which put a bigger spin on the story as a whole. It keeps you guessing as a reader because there are so many surprises during the book that some catch you off guard. Mockingjay was the perfect choice to wrap up the series because it talks about the revolution. Katniss was the symbol for the people to believe in. It also has an ending that a reader wouldn’t expect. It catches you by surprise and makes you wonder what would happen if there was another book. The end of the book was disappointing because  it doesn’t end the way you expect. In all the series is one of my favorites because I never knew what would happen next. It always had me in the dark until the very end when there would be another twist or turn. It was one of my favorite reads, and I normally don’t read in the first place. This was worth reading, and has become one of my favorite book series to read.
