 2nd Semester Parking Passes will be available to purchase, or pick up if you have already paid for one, during lunch or after school on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday in the main office.  If this is the first time purchasing a parking pass, there is a form that must be filled out and signed by a parent.  You can get a form in the main office. The cost is $85.00 to be paid in full.  Your parents can pay online. If the parking pass is purchased on line you must have a copy of the receipt with your vehicle information on it when you pick up your pass.  You must have a 2nd semester pass on your vehicle beginning Monday, January 28th.

Attention all Students!  As a reminder the Menomonee Falls High School Schedule Change Policy is as follows.  Schedule changes will only be allowed if they meet one or more of the following criteria:  

1.     A course originally selected has been canceled 

2.     Failure of a required or prerequisite course 

3.     Adding a course needed to graduate on time

4.     Adding a course required for college admission

5.     Accommodating a medical condition

6.     To balance the difficulty of the class schedule over the school year or to balance class sizes

7.     To provide an academic intervention or support.

In order to submit a schedule change request, your request must meet one of these listed criteria. Schedule changes cannot be made to request specific instructors or specific hours of a class.This policy is printed in the Menomonee Falls High School Course Guide.

CLUBS

Attention National Honor Society members.  Tonight's meeting has been cancelled.  Next meeting will be Tuesday, February 5.

Reminder to all Link Leaders - we will be meeting in the library after your 3rd hour exam tomorrow.  We will start the meeting at 1:35.

Turnabout is February 9th!  Turnabout permission slips are in the office.  Tickets will be on sale next Tuesday Jan 29th through Wednesday Feb 6th.

 

Chinese Club is Celebrating Chinese New Year on February 8 after school in the Library.  The food will be delicious, the games and entertainment will be hilarious and the desserts will be sweet – all in order to bring you a prosperous New Year.  All are welcome!  The cost is $8.00.  Pay Mrs. Wanta in room 239 by February 5.  More information to come! 

SPORTS

On Saturday, JV Cheer competed and took 1st place out of 6 teams at the JAM State Competition in Sheboygan! Congratulations to our State Champs! Way to go JV Cheer!

The Menomonee Falls/Hamilton/Germantown boys swimming and diving team competed in and hosted the Indian invite on Saturday January 19. The boys placed 3rd in the meet. There were some awesome swims.

Top scorers were: John Seiler, Cal Weber, Sam Neale, Siddhant Jain, Kaleb Becker, and Nate Bomm

Thursday night is our parents’ night, the Boys Swimming and Diving team will face Marquette.

 

ATTENTION WRESTLING FANS: Please support your MFHS wrestling team on Thursday night as they take on  West Allis Hale for the Greater Metro conference championship.  Varsity starts at 7:30 pm. It’s  a BLACK OUT!

 

 

GYMNASTICS:  The season is looking very promising for the team. If you can, come out and support at the next home invitational this Saturday at home in the Main gym. The meet starts at 11am. See you there!

 

Boys and Girls interested in playing rugby this spring, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, February 4th at 3:30pm in the cafeteria.  An overview of the sport, schedule, and costs will be addressed.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact the CE&Rec Department at 262-255-8460.
