REMINDER –STUDENTS FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL SHOULD NOTBE VISITING NORTH MIDDLE SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY EARLY RELEASE DAYS.

This week the students in the computer science classes celebrated Computer Science Education Week.  Possible careers in the computer science field include:  computer engineer, network administrator, software architect, web developer, database administrator, computer animator, and many more.  These are some of the highest paid and fastest growing occupations in America.   If you have any questions about computer science or about the classes offered here at MFHS, please see Mrs. Larson in Room 249.

Attention Sophomores:  please remember to bring money or gifts to your World History class to help the 5 children we are sponsoring from Riverside Elementary.  All donations are due TODAY. Check the posters in your history classroom to see what specific items are needed or bring in cash donations.

Congratulations to the Senior Class for reaching their Community Service Project goal to sponsor less fortunate families during this holiday season.  The Senior Class raised over $800 in one week!  Way to go Seniors...

While I have your attention--if there are ANY SENIORS who HAVE NOT submitted orders to Jostens for your graduation cap/gowns, you must do so online by next week.  This is your responsibility!

You can gift wrap a sweater.  You can fill a gift bag with holiday cookies.  One thing you can’t put in a box and place under the tree is the perfect gift – a lifesaving blood donation.

When you donate blood, you give the perfect gift - another hug, another smile, another chance - to someone in need of blood.

Think outside the box this holiday season.  The perfect gift is available right here at MFHS…and it’s free!  Donate at the Healthcare Academy Blood Drive Thursday, December 20.  Sign up at lunch or see Ms. Tarcin in Room 126.

Give the perfect gift and help a family member, friend or someone you’ve never even met unwrap a lifetime of memories.

Attention Seniors--our class community service project is underway.  Make your contribution for needy families in your Econ and Government classes.  Our goal is to raise $800!  If we surpass that goal, the entire senior class will receive breakfast during an upcoming homeroom.  There is also an incentive for the econ or government class that raises the most money.  Help make this holiday season a better one for the children we are sponsoring.
