The last day to sign up for the ASVAB free test is this Friday. The test is Wednesday, November 14th at 8:00 AM. Sign up in Student Services

Attention Seniors:  Applications are due in Student Services by THURSDAYfor the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation scholarship is available. For more information and for a downloadable application, please visit  http://www.kohleducation.org/.

Attention Seniors!  If you signed the Wisconsin Covenant Pledge when you entered high school, you must complete the confirmation process by March 30, 2013.  Visit www.wisconsincovenant.wi.gov to complete your Senior Confirmation and Record of Service form.   These completed forms must have signatures from you, your parent/guardian and your high school principal.

 

The Exploring Program allows students to learn about different Career Opportunities, build Citizenship, gain Leadership Experience and develop Life Skills  while relating this information to specific programs of study that include:  Law, Aviation, Computer Science, Medical, Engineering and more.  For more info on the Exploring Program visit www.pacexplorers.org or call (262)436-8415.

 

CLUBS

The Forensics team will have its first meeting of the year on TODAY after school in room 144. If you're interested in improving your acting or public speaking skills, forensics is the activity for you. See Mr. Jaeger if you are interested and cannot attend Tuesday.

 

MFHS Book Club will be meeting TODAY to discuss the book A Brave New World. Meeting will be at 3:15 in the library.

Attention FACT members!  Please meet Mrs. Laserstein in room 143 after school on Wednesday or Thursday if you have time to work on the display case, view the new FACT videos and/or work on your activities.

Our next official meeting will be November 15th, after school in lab 141.

SPORTS

If you are an athlete that will be signing an National Letter of Intent with a NCAA school, we will have a signing event on November 14th. Please contact Mr. Anderson with this information by this Friday

 

For girls trying out for basketball, there will be an important basketball meetingTODAY at 5:00 in room 118 followed by open gym. There is also a sign up list and tryout information to pick up in room 118.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Amundson.

 

Attention HS Bowlers.  Just a reminder that practice starts this Wednesday at Village Bowl.  Practice starts at 3:30...be on time!

 

Attention all boys who are interested in joining the Boys Swim Team... we will be holding a short informational meeting on TOMORROW at 1:55. If interested in joining, please attend the meeting to get swim practice and meet schedules, policies, and proper forms before the first day of swim practice on Monday, November 12th. Hope to see you there."

 

COMMUNITY EDUCATION & RECREATIN DEPARTMENT

Attention Skiers and Snowboarders: This year the Ski Trip will be the last weekend of January 26-28. The information can be picked up outside the Athletic Office. All forms need to be turned in at the Rec. Department. There will be a meeting a week before the trip to give you more information about the trip. If you need to rent skies, the cost is $50 for 2 days or snowboards $65 for the 2 days.

Boys and Girls interested in participating in this year’s High School Rec.
