Menomonee Falls High School FBLA

Our own Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) won the state competition held in
Appleton on April 6-7. This is the FIRST state championship for MFHS FBLA! A record number
of 33 students qualified for the National Competition in Nashville this summer by earning first,
second, or third place in their events. Last year, 12 students qualified for Nationals, which at
that time was a school record. This is an amazing accomplishment by this year’s Nationals
qualifiers and all FBLA members who competed.

Students prepared over many months for their events. They attended nighttime study sessions
and worked diligently outside of class to prepare. Students prepared projects in advance of the
event and practiced their presentations with their peers and advisors. Many, many hours went
into their preparation.

Saurabh Jain, a Senior at MFHS and the FBLA Region 7 Vice President, completed his term as
state officer. He was recognized on stage for his contributions this past year. He completes his
FBLA tenure having qualified for National Competition three consecutive years, including this
year.

FBLA is advised by Mrs. Burling and Mrs. Oliver.
