Press release from the School District of Menomonee Falls:

MFHS thanks Big Lots for generous donation

New store welcomed to the community

It’s no secret the education and business
communities must work together to create a better society.
Today, one example of that special relationship occurred when Big Lots officially opened in
Menomonee Falls.

Menomonee Falls High School and the entire School District say a big “thank you” to Big
Lots Regional Manager Jerry Kilian and Store Manager Rocky Surrat for their generous donation of
$1,500 to Menomonee Falls High School.

Big Lots celebrated its opening with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony that
included the Chamber of Commerce and local dignitaries. As a token of goodwill, the donation was
made to the high school.

“The donation is generous and will be put to good use for our students. Even more valuable
is the fact that Big Lots has extended their hand to build a partnership with our school. I look
forward to building that relationship,” said Principal Corey Golla.
Big Lots is located in the Northpointe Centre at N78W14511 Appleton Avenue.
